This is documentation for the current version of the Slideshow Digital Signage app for Android and Windows.

Most of the features are available on both platforms. Features that are available only on one of the platforms are marked in the relevant articles.

Where to start

  • If you don't already have suitable Android or Windows hardware, check out our recommendations.
  • You might want to check details about the local web interface, which acts as a main interface for managing Slideshow.
  • For displaying more than just media files from a single folder, check configuration for content and playlists.
  • If you want to use Slideshow without network access, you can copy media files from USB Flash drive (Android) or add them via on-screen menu → Add from storage (Windows).
  • Lastly, setting up automatic startup is often encouraged.
